Hi, I’m Karishma Sharma, a 16-year-old founder, researcher, and advocate for girls’ confidence.

I am the proud Founder of BoldHER Future, an initiative created from personal experience and purpose. From a young age, I struggled with my own confidence and experienced firsthand how easily girls begin to question their abilities, voices, and worth. Through mentorship, research, and intentional growth, I learned that confidence is not something you are simply born with. It is something that can be built.

That realization inspired me to create BoldHER Future, a movement dedicated to helping girls step into their most authentic and fearless selves.

Beyond advocacy, I am conducting independent research on the adolescent gender confidence gap, exploring the neuropsychological and social factors that cause girls’ confidence to decline and identifying evidence-based strategies to intervene early and effectively.

My mission is twofold: to equip girls with the tools to build confidence from a young age, and to spark broader societal change so that confidence does not falter in the first place.

Confidence should not shrink with age. It should expand with opportunity.
