What is the Confidence Gap?

The Confidence Gap refers to the decline in self-esteem and self-belief that many girls experience, typically between the ages of 8 and 13.

Even though girls may perform as well as boys in various activities, they are more likely to question their worth or the value they hold. These thoughts slowly lead them to avoid leadership roles or speaking out, and over time, these actions become more noticeable.

BoldHER Future exists to interrupt this pattern early. We are creating environments where girls view themselves as leaders, learn that failure is part of growth, and are taught how to build self-worth.

Did You Know?

Between the ages of 8-13 girls confidence levels decrease 30% in comparison to boys.
